Argh... Hurt my thumb yesterday, now I can't grip anything, can't play guitar T_T I feel like I want to hurt something, but it probably isn't a good thing to do...
Blah, tired from yesterday, a lot of things happened during work, but probably best not to mention it here. And that's for a good reason too. Only thing I can say is, I left my apartment for work around 5:30 am, and got back home 10:30 pm. 6 hours spent on driving, the rest standing...
Good thing is today I finally received my copy of "Knife of Dream" by Robert Jordan.......... YAAAYYYYY!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to read it. But I'll have to finished "Gates of Fire" by Steven Pressfield first before I start reading KoD... oh well, 1/3 more to go!

| Finally an update after waiting for infinity... |
Okay, my site has been down for months. It's because, well, I am too lazy to move it from one of my hosting account to another. It's not the fault of the webhosting company, but actually my fault.
I was actually using one of my account for testing purposes and let them move to a test server. After that I've never bothered to have my account moved back to live server or anything at all.
Anyway, today I finally take the time to move the website to the other account. Now it's live and, well, updated, hehehe...
About few weeks ago, I finally went to Ikea with my friend to get a new bookshelf. I've been needing one because all my books have been just laying around helplessly ^_^. Anyway, here's the pic of my bookshelf (click the image to see the bigger version):
If you look at the middle shelf, you'll see that there are 3 bottles holding my books. Since I am a fan of Arizona Green Tea (yum yum), I've got a lot of empty bottles, so I use it to store my coins. One bottle for pennies, one for dime, and one for nickels. Quarters belong to washing machine. Click the image below to get the bigger version:

Hello world... whoever reading my blog (probably only me). Happy Valentine! Hopefully you fare batter than me. I have a nice romantic instant noodle + egg dinner with my computer tonight. ^_^
Oh well, who needs valentine anyway... ... ... actually, *sobs* feeling lonely...
Anyway... not much to say after all this time... I am re-reading my Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series from the begining again. This is my third time reading the series, and it's always interesting.
Hm.. what else... it's cold outside, snow sucks, I hate winter, I wish I could hibernate like bear or move to west coast, and did I tell you I hate snow?

Woohoo! I just got a new car several days ago. Well, not actually mine, because I am leasing it. It's a Honda Civic LX. I was thinking of getting the EX, but the monthly would have force me to fast at least few times a month, if not killing me. Anyway, it's nice and new... hehehe... Definitely not a fast car, but it's nice to actually have a car that doesn't break down at least once every month like my old Mitsubishi Galant. The only thing is right now I have no clue what to do about that Galant. I hope I can at least get few hundred bucks back because that car has cost me a lot of money.
On another note, right now I am stuck at work. It's almost midnight and I am still working *sobs*. Oh well, I guess that's what makes my life not boring and intersting, hehehe...
Hm... what else I can say... I guess those are all I can think of right now. I'll write again to bore the world when I feel like to. Ciao!

| Some update after so long |
I guess I do a little update after so many months of inactivity. I know, I know, no one read my blog, nothing really interesting here anyway, but you know what... I just like to talk to myself once in awhile, hehehe....
Anyway, here I am, not sure what to do with this website. It's been so long I neglect this place I even already forgot what was that I need to code to make this place nicer aside of working on doing blog entry online (believe it or not, I am entering blog entry directly to the database with phpmyadmin, well, at least not mysql command line). So yeah... I am lost in my own site... what a loser...
Oh well, I guess that's all for now because, well, not sure what I really want to say anyway... just want to populate my blog a little bit, or... I am spamming my own blog (not that there are a lot of stuff going on in the first place, mind you) =)

Yay! I just finished reading the latest novel by Terry Brooks, HIGH DRUID OF SHANNARA JARKA RUUS. It is a first part of a trilogy, and is really a very good book. I really enjoy reading it and cannot wait for the next one, which will be next year.
I'll try not to spoil anything here, but be warned that something might still not what you want to hear/read. So, if you don't want to know about it at all, I suggest do not read the rest of the entry.
The storyline is slightly different than his other Shannara series. First of all, there's a different in the druids's involvement in the event(s). The druids, they aren't quite the "director" who push people to the direction of their liking. Allanon and Walker Boh used half-truth to push the Omshford the direction they want. Hoever, this time, the druids are instead the center of the events.
Another different is the Ohmsford's mission. This time it's more like saving-my-family instead of saving-the-world kind of mission. Though I believe in the end it might be the latter, but it started with the former. In the first trilogy, and heritage of shannara, most times they have always been told to save the world. Not this time. Penderrin Ohmsford is told to save his family member.
Overall, I really love the stories, I finished the book in less than 2 days because I just couldn't stop reading. If you like fantasy story, you'd love this one! If not, give it a try, you might like it ^_^.

Couple of days ago, when I was using my computer (when I am not using the computer... -.-;;), my screen suddenly went darker and showed lines like burn marks all over the places. I was scared b/c I thought it was my monitor. But after I tested it with different monitor, it had same result, so I assume it was the gfx card (which of course it was).
I decided to buy a new gfx card to replace my old GeForce 256DDR, which is like soooo old. After looking around for awhile, I decided to get Radeon 9600 256MB (not Pro). I had to cancel my anime dvd orders so that I didn't have to spend so much money this month T_T.
Anyway, so I ordered it from newegg.com (nice place to shop), and got it in 2 days! I installed it right away, and at the same time found out what was wrong with my old gfx card: the fan decided to stop working so the gpu was burnt -.-;;.
I tested the radeon right away with my games, well, the games I have right now. I tried Neverwinter Night and Morrowind. All I can say is... WOW... (of course I only had a geforce 256 before this, so it's a BIG improvement for me).
Right now, I am as happy as I can be, except that I have to wait for awhile before I can get the dvds I want to get ~_~.

Friday night (or very early morning of Saturday, you pick) 12 midnight, I worked until the next day noon, went to get lunch afterward and drove home. sleep for two hours, and went to get dinner, and hang around a bit in my friend's place, and finally got back home at 11 pm saturday. I went to bed and woke up at 10 am Sunday, still feel sleepy, went to bed again about 11. Finally woke up again at 2 pm. It's a roller coaster... ~_~ Even now I am still sleepy... but oh-well, I have to stay awake until bedtime -_-;;
Anyway... so far it's been tiring weekend... I think I might sleep for another 12 hours tonight (or more).

Bleh, it sucks for not having internet for 3 hours. It almost as if I cannot breath for 3 hours. Well, not quite, but you get the idea ~_~. It's a major relieve when my computer finally connected to internet. I can breath again!!! Hehehe...

Yesterday, I drove down to Newark to pick up my friends from the airport. I must say that It was one hell of a trip. I left early morning around 9 am, and then got back home again around 3 pm. Though it was really tiring, it's nice seeing them back in the US again from their vacation.
I think that the longer I live in the US, I will have a chance to see more states. So far the states I've seen/passed through are Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Arizona, California, Washington, Ohio, Wiscounsin, Pensylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, and now New Jersey. Yay! 20 states, about 2/5 of the states. another 30 states to go...! ^_^
Anyway, after that I am dead tired, and I am still tired right now. After I return the rental car, I am gonna get a whole day rest. Hehehe.... Ja ne!

Yeah... I have been rather "busy" with a lot of stuff. And lazy too. Ugh... Gotta get rid of laziness...
Yesterday I went to change my car's oil, then the gal in walmart told me it would take 3.5 hours. I was surprised, but since my car really need it, I leave it there, and walk home. It turned out that walking home from walmart took about 1 hour one trip. So I got home and tired. Then I walked back there again, another 1 hour, drove back home and collapse. This morning I woke up, and I couldn't walk at all, my legs hurt so much *ugh*. I need to excersice before I become as weak as a baby.
Oh well, I guess that's all that is interesting so far. Sorry for having a boring life ^_^;;.

Yeah, I finished the code for comment entry for this blog. If you click on the "comment(s)" below, a window will pop up, showing all the comments and you can add your comments too.
This has been holding me quite a bit because I've been experimenting with the way it handles cookies. I finally give in for a standard javascript cookie instead of customize it myself x_x.
Aside of this, well, nothing really interesting in my life so far. Oh yeah, Onegai Twins ep 5 is out by AE and AKeep. Interesting show, almost too interesting. One comment from me: It's like yaoi, yuri, pedo, incest packed into one package. In case you are wondering, yaoi is male and male relationship, yuri is female and female, and I am sure you can figure out pedo and incest. Not that there's anything wrong with yaoi/yuri (a way to get out of any attack from ppl who thinks I am against yaoi/yur, well, I am, but just that it's not my business if you want to do it ^_^).

I've finally added the section where people can read comments, which supposely can be entered by anyone, however, unfortunately I haven't done with the "entering comment"-part. So you can only view those "empty comment" for now.
Another thing is that the archives of the month are viewable by clicking the red color dates on the calender. I haven't decided yet how I will handle the archives of the previous months. We'll see about that.
Let's change topic, I just watch S.W.A.T. I think it's pretty good. If you like action, shooting, killing, etc, you definitely will like it. The story isn't much, but it's not bad at all.

Well, so far I've add here and there a lot of nifty things. Like this section will be my blog, or you can call it my ranting page. Not much has been done, except now it retrieved the data from database. However, I haven't started on on-line login for myself to make blog entry. The way I am doing it right now is go to my database, and entered it manually ^_^;;
There are more little things, but they aren't worth mentioning. They are more like clean-up, replacing the codes with the more efficient ones, etc etc etc.
Oh yeah, I still have no clue what to put on the right side of the page, below the counter. Maybe blog archives, or quick links, I don't know yet. We'll see.

I just re-enable guestbook again. I made it so that one person can only make one entry in a certain period of time. Feel free to make your entry.
I added character count to the comment textbox, and I increase the limit from 250 to 1000 characters since it seems that people like to talk a lot about my website ^_^
I removed the built-in cgi counter because I suspect a slow down whenever it tried to update the counter. However, I replaced it with another one I wrote myself, and I moved it to the right with its own table.

I just disable it again, because of stupid people faking entries. I will code it so it records the ip so I know who is abusing and ban that person. I am gonna add cookies too.

Just a little update, though it doesn't look any different, but it's an update. The calender to the right is now built by php! And it will mark the date of the day.
Another one is more background pictures on this table. Refresh multiple times or click the page sections on the left, and it will show random different background each time the page is loaded!

I finally update my website with new layout. The old one, which had red as the main theme, started to hurt people's eyes ^_^. I think they are about to sue me, so now I change it to blue color, it's light, not bright and hopefully not hurting anyone's eyes. I don't want to be sued >_<.
Well, now, about my site! I took off some menu because I think they are just taking space, and not really worth doing anyway. Things are arranged differently, too. Initially, I was planning to make a 1024x(some odd number) kind of website, but I decided that it's a little too big. I don't have much to show on my site, so too many blank spaces are very very bad.
Hm... What else to tell... Oh, yeah! You see the calender to the right? You must be wondering what that silly thing is doing there. The purpose of the calender is... to fill the empty spaces ^_^;; Actually I am thinking of making a journal/weblog, but I am not sure about it yet. I left an extra menu "Test Page" in case I ever get to it. For now, the calender has no purpose, and it isn't even build with php! It's a manually added calender.
So... ready to roll? I know there isn't much to see in here, but just take a look anyway. Though this isn't the best website out there, but I worked hard to make it happen, and I am proud of myself!
